This is in fact true.  I don't have a list at my finger tips though.  I have
to dig that out.

Also, there are Foundations that "limit" their support based  on percentage
of extramural dollars received from United Way.  And recently one Foundation
(PNM Foundation in New Mexico) expressly stated that any charity receiving
more than 4% of their extramural support from United Way was ineligible.

Hello All;

I have been told by a member of our development office that they believe
certain foundations will not fund an institution that is receiving United
Way funds.  Has any one heard of such an issue and if so what Foundations
may have such restrictions?
