Bill,

If your talk includes opportunities for support of individual researchers,
the following sources may be of interest:

NATO fellowships:
http://www.nato.int/structur/sponsorships.htm

Similarly, the German Academic Exchange Service sponsors grant opportunities
for researchers who can establish collaborative research stays in Germany:
http://www.daad.org/

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation grants research fellowships and
research awards to highly qualified scholars and scientists of all
nationalities not resident in Germany:

Subject: [RESADM-L] European opportunities

RESADMers--

I've been drafted to give a grants workshop to some visiting Romanian
agricultural scientists/biologists tomorrow morning. I don't know much
about grant opportunities available to them in Romania or Europe--does
anyone? Or can you point me towards some sources of information? I can
handle the proposal-writing part, that's universal, but I'd like to be able
to talk about at least a few potential grant opportunities.

Thanks and regards, Bill
