Heidi,

Our Institution treats these study agreements like a Master Agreement with each new protocol being reviewed by our IRB.  By treating the Subcontract as a Master Agreement each future study would automatically be governed by the subcontract.  This would address your concern about the Sponsor's acknowledgment of you participating in a study.

You want to involve everyone in the beginning, grants accounting, legal, IRB, etc., to work out the mechanics and decide if you want to participate.
