Re: Web Tutorial "Grantsmanship 101" Cole, Julie B. 27 Jun 2002 10:27 EST

Jon, SRA has developed a two-day program specifically tailored to
departmental administrators. Coincidentally it is called DA 101. After
great reviews in pilot sites, DA 101 will be rolled out this year as a
regional program and is available to institutions as as on-site training
program as well. The DA 201 and 301 certificate series which is more
advanced sessions tied to the original 101 program will be offered at the
Orlando and Pittsburgh SRA meetings respectively.

SRA's DA 101 has been converted to a CD with all the power point
presentations and case studies, and also contains advice on launching "live"
interactive programming for on-site discussion sessions. The University of
Florida is hosting DA 101 as a kick-off to its in-house training series this
year.

Hope this helps!

Julie

Subject: [RESADM-L] Web Tutorial "Grantsmanship 101"

Colleagues,
We at Rockefeller are hoping to create an on-line tutorial covering
"Grantsmanship 101" for departmental administrators/secretaries and new
faculty. If any of you have created such a program and would like to share
the web address, it would be very helpful to us to see what other
institutions have created. Thank you! My private e-mail is listed below
should you not wish to reply to the List. Joni.
