Assistant Research Facilitator

Marshfield Medical Research and Education Foundation, a division of Marshfield Clinic, has a career opportunity available as Assistant Research Facilitator.  The primary function of the Assistant Research Facilitator is to assist in the establishment of research protocols.  Responsibilities include: identifying and contacting potential sources of external funding; preparing ad submitting appropriate application materials, including preparation of concept papers; assisting with IRB paperwork; literature search and retrieval; and assisting the research facilitator with scientific writing and editing.  The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in English, biological, or medical sciences; Ph.D. preferred.  Must also have a minimum of three years scientific writing experience.  Previous grant writing experience preferred.  Excellent writing and communication skills required.
