Re: Transferring a grant Debbie Smith 10 Dec 2001 10:52 EST

I thought I recalled that the NIH policy (or old PHS policy) prohibited the
transfer of a grant in the last 6 months of the grant period; but I don't
see anything about it in the NIH Policy Statement (II-53-55).

We have a faculty member trying to transfer a grant (and equipment) in the
last six months of a no-cost extension period--and no competing continuation
has been submitted.

Does anyone know if there is any prohibition on moving a grant in the last
six months?

Thanks!

Debbie Smith
