NSF NSF CCLI-A&I Budget Question Nancy Peterson 21 May 2001 15:09 EST

Can anyone tell me if I'm reading the NSF CCLI-A&I budget instructions
correctly? As I understand it, the NSF CCLI-A&I requires a 50-50 match for
the total budget. The instrumentation must be matched by cash on a 1-1
basis, but the grand total of the other items (personnel, supplies, etc.)
can be matched by cash or in-kind, and that match does not have to be on a
1-1 basis for each item. If we still can't ask NSF for indirects (F&A) on
these proposals, can we use indirects as an institutional match for the
non-instrument costs?
