Suspended or debarred contractors James L Bates 02 May 2001 13:11 EST

Janet,

This appears to be a good source to determine if a subcontractor/vendor is
suspended or debarred.

Actually, there's a website where you can check and see "who's who" on the
suspended and debarred list. The address is: http://epls.arnet.gov.

I would be reluctant to take the word of the vendor. If they are
unscrupulous
enough to be disbarred or suspended, how could I accept any certification
of
theirs? I'd want to see the Fed's listing.

I believe that the list is published by GSA. As I mentioned in an earlier
post,
they do not have it in an electronic format. At least not yet. The
technoweenies may be able to figure a way to get the paper version into
electronic format.
