NSF instrumentation proposals, the budget page Anne Womack 23 Jan 2001 11:07 EST

Question: You must cost-share 30% of the total cost of the
piece of equipment you are buying. It costs $90,000.
What do you put on the budget page under "Equipment"--- the
full price, or what you are requesting from NSF, i.e. $60,000 (which
will also be transmitted to the cover page)?
A quick call to NSF garnered a hesitant answer of "Put the
whole amount on the budget page, we'll figure it out here." But I
am wondering if anyone out there has already figured out a clearer
way.
 Thanks.
