Re: Macs and PCs; WP vs. MS-Word Joe Titone 16 May 2000 11:37 EST

Here are some thoughts:

1. It isn't just Macs and pc's - some of our users have other platforms.
Accordingly, we find it easier to use pdf or html forms on our web site.
We moved away from platform specific forms because even within the same
platform we had to maintain various versions of a form.

2. A program called Dataviz Conversions not only translates 100's of file
formats from one to the other, it also allows me to read and write Mac
disks on my pc.

3. I'm a long time WP user but have been migrating to Word because each
succeeding WP update (currently using WP9, Win NT) has become less user
friendly and WP crashes/locks up more than all other programs combined.
